starter valves synching
Hi all-
What would be the symptoms of the starter valves needing to be synched? I'm trying to narrow down what's causing my slight engine flutter and so far have ruled out valve adjustment and faulty coils. thanks- RP chicago _______________________________________________ vfr mailing list vfr@xxxxxx For subscription and delivery options: https://lists.cs.wisc.edu/mailman/listinfo/vfr |

RE: starter valves synching
Starter valves? Do you mean the carburetors balanced/synchronized?
If you are getting an unsteady idle, this is likely the cause .... Even if it is one of the fuel injected bikes, they need to have their throttle bodies synchronized (balanced air-flow at idle) to let the engine run smoothly. You didn't mention what year, so I made it general.
