'91 vfr battery or charging

Hi guys, I bought the '91 VFR with 11,000 miles that I asked for opinions
about a couple months ago. I love the bike, but this morning when I went
for a ride, after 20 minutes shut the bike off, went to start it again and
it just clicked, battery didn't have enough charge to start the bike. I
push started it. When riding home it died as I put the clutch in, I got it
to start again by popping the clutch while still rolling, but now I have to
figure out why the battery is dying. It gave no sign of being weak before
this morning. Thanks in advance, Kelley

Search the archives, it's either the R/R, the stator, or the wiring
inbetween.

Also try the fault-finding flowsheet at Electrosport:
