2006 Rear Running Light Modification

Has anyone done a rear running light modification on a 2006 VFR (so
that the bike has amber running lights on the rear as well as the
front of the bike)?

The archives link to a nice modification (by Sean Murphy) on a 6th
gen but pre-2006 VFR (http://www.seantmurphy.com/VFR/#Turn_Signals).
He talks about running a wire from the "middle" wire on the front
turn signal/running lights -- but there is no middle wire on the
front signal/running lights on my 2006, which has only two wires to
the front signal/running lights. He also refers to an empty "center
post" on the rear "signal connectors" (sockets?) into which the
running lights can be wired -- but again I can't find this.

Has anyone done this mod on a 2006 and can offer some advice? I did a
similar mod (with advice from this list) on a 1990 VFR. It sure
improved rear visibility and it was a snap to do to boot. I'd like to
do it on my 2006.

Thanks in advance.

RE: 2006 Rear Running Light Modification

Hmm. So when you remove your rear plastic wire harness clip for the turn
signal, how many posts do you see two or three?
