coolant flush

Is there an easy way to flush the coolant on a 4th gen (94-97)?
On my old truck, I would just disconnect the radiator hose at the
thermostat, pull the thermostat, then stick the garden hose in it.
I'm hesitant to apply the same "technique" to a motorcycle though.
Any tips...?

Well, that's more-or-less how I did mine. I pulled the hoses off of
the radiator, and shoved a garden hose into the upper rad. hose and
backflushed the system. I know that I didn't get everything, but then
it's tap water too. I dismounted the radiator and flushed it
separately. I blew out most of the water with low-pressure air,
reassembled everything, and re-filled with Honda's pre-mix.
Everything burped out quickly, and I put the correct amount of
coolant in there, so I couldn't have had much water/old coolant left
in the system.

later,
Johnj
