NVFR: Attention / ? for ST 1100 owners

Listers,
I've noticed that many on the VFR list are current or past ST1100 owners.
Having added an St to my collection, I have a question I'd like to ask of
current or past ST owners..

I have seen "somewhere" a protective shield for the ST headlight.
As the '95 ST I purchased had a small crack in the headlight glass,
I looked @ replacing it. MSRP of approx.$350.00 had me turn to
e-bay surfing.

Having recently found and obtained a replacement
(after 2-3 years of looking!) I feel it might be wise to install
a shield over the headlight,to prevent another years-long search
for a reasonable cost replacement, in the event of another
errant stone -induced mishap.

My question is, does anyone know who makes / where I can
get (?) one of the headlight shield/covers, that I'm sure I've
seen before..just can't remember where...
Thanks for responding...Joebiker 996

I believe that there is also a self-adhesive plastic film used for
this application...ah yes:

RE: NVFR: Attention / ? for ST 1100 owners

I have Cee Bailey light covers on my ST1300, but they are available for the
1100 as well. Highly recommended...
