VFR rotors correction...

I guess I can use the front rotor (s) from a 1990 -1997 VFR.

Thanks if anyone has one or two for me.

Please email.

Peter

RE: VFR rotors correction...

I could be wrong, but I believe the '90-'93 is without the floating rotors,
mounting hard to the wheel. The '94+ have (semi) floating rotors with the
buttons on them. I don't think they are interchangeable.

You could also try a search of the archives for straightening rotors. I
think it was Kevin Glick who did a nice write up on how to get them straight
again, assuming they aren't out a huge amount. Note that you will likely
need to do the procedure a couple times (the write up mentions this) as the
metal will relax back when it gets warm, so you need to work it in steps.

Good luck

Carl

Re: VFR rotors correction...

Can't use 90-93 rotors on 94-97. Quite different.

94-97 rotors are the same ones used on the 95-97 CBR 900 RR. If you look on ebay under that listing you will usually find some.
