Best price on Givi and Ventura Rack for sale

I am seeking the WOTL! I have a 99 VFR and I'm planning a trip out west from 5/26 until 6/26. I will be going from GA to San Diego, up to Vancouver and back across Washington, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado. It now appears as if I need to buy some Givi luggage. I thought I could get by using a large Kayak dry bag on a Ventura Rack but my daughter is now going to ride with me for 4000 of the 8000 miles and we cannot carry enough for both of us on the Ventura Rack for the trip. This trip was already going to be very expensive since it is 30 days long and we are credit card camping but now it appears as if I am going to have to buy expensive Givi luggage on top of it all. If I do, getting the very best price possible is crucial. I am considering getting a Givi Wingrack with two E360 cases and a top case. Any suggestions re cases and where to get the best price would be greatly appreciated. Also, for those of you who have the wingrack, does it make it difficult to
remove your rear tire?

I now have a brand new Ventura Rack (L-Brackets, PackRack and Grab Handle) that retails for $210 that I will not need if I buy the Givi luggage. If anyone wants it I will make you a great deal on it. It has been mounted but never used. It is a very nice system but with a passenger, you cannot use their two bag system and with only one bag, it just cannot handle enough for our trip. Check it out at

Ping me off list at vic5491@xxxxxx if you are interested in the ventura rack. Otherwise, please reply on list re where to get Givi luggage at a good price. I'm sure others would like to know this as well.

Cheers,
Vic

Best I could find was at:

http://www.sporttour.com/honda/vfr.htm

I went with E36'es and the tubular rack. I prefer the tubular because I
take the side racks off when I'm not using the saddlebags and it leaves
the bike looking cleaner but still retaining the rear rack. You can see
some pics of my set-up here:

Re: Best price on Givi and Ventura Rack for sale

Fred, thanks. SportTour.com has the best price I have found as well. I also like dealing with them. Nice folks, good service, etc. I have bought like 3 sets of tires from them so far. I was hoping someone on the list might know of someone significantly cheaper so I decided to ask.

Cheers,
Vic
