Luggage (again)

I apologize for asking so many questions about luggage but I am in a bind and hope you don't mind. Anyone use any soft sided luggage that is comfortable with a rider on the back? One guy on VFRD said he uses Cortech Sport Saddlebags on his bike and his GF has not complained. When I look at how thick the straps are that go across the seat, I cannot imagine how this could be but thought I would ask the list. If I could get two saddlebags with about 35 liters of storage combined, I could use my Ventura rack and dry bag. The three would be sufficient. Any thoughts on using saddlebags with a rider?

Vic

I have RKA soft saddlebags (the biggest ones..rectangle shaped) on both the
VFR and the ZX10R with a passenger, with nary a complaint. On the VFR we did
about 1700 miles and about 1200 on the Kawi. On both, I simply wrapped the
straps in a terrycloth towel for comfort.
