Tell the VFR world about VFRworld! There are hundreds of thousands VFRs in the world today, and yet there are less than 5,000 VFRworld members. That means there are a whole lot of VFR owners living a lonely, isolated existence without the companionship of VFRworld!

Our Mission: To ensure that every VFR owner in the world knows about the existence of VFRworld.

How: By working together, we can spread the word - just a little bit of effort by a lot of people. By joining the Committee, you too can help VFRworld grow, and help to bring light into the lives of unknowing VFR owners from around the world.

Joining the Committee is open to everyone – the more the merrier! All that we ask is that you help us spread the word. There are many ways to accomplish this:

Online

Send email to all the VFR owners that you know. VFRworld allows you to do this quickly and easily. Just go to the Referral Page to enter the information, and a link will automatically be sent!

Mention VFRworld on other websites and mailing lists. There are actually two advantages to posting about VFRworld on other websites. The first and most important benefit is that people who read your message will immediately learn about VFRworld and come visit. But there’s also a hidden advantage in regards to the concept of internet pagerank. Basically, the more links that exist on other sites which point to VFRworld, the higher VFRworld will show up in search engines, such as Google and Yahoo. Sending email and posting on other forums is all well and good, but let’s face it - if a VFR owner is active on the internet, then he or she probably already knows about VFRworld. Our mission is to contact every VFR owner, including those who spend more time riding than typing.

Pass out VFRworld business cards. If you’re willing to pass them out, VFRworld will supply the cards! If you see a VFR parked down the street, leave a card on the tank. If you attend the WSB races, then by all means leave 300 cards on all the VFRs that are sure to be parked everywhere! You can request your free VFRworld Business Card Starter Kit, all we ask is that you use the cards we send you. They do cost money, but if they are reaching new members who can add to our growing community, then it’s an excellent investment for all of us!

Leave information at your local Honda dealer. Who knows more about VFR owners than your local Honda dealer? If the dealer is willing to let you leave a stack of business cards on the counter, or post a flyer on the bulletin board, this is a great way to reach them. Imagine - if every new VFR owner was told about VFRworld, then they would immediately have a group of comrades, riding buddies, and experienced mechanics at their disposal! You can find both business cards and flyers in the VFRworld Marketing Materials section.

Good old-fashioned word of mouth. Since you ride a VFR, you probably already know many of the VFR riders in your area. Make sure they know about us!

What’s in it for you?

Most importantly, the more active VFRworld becomes, the more VFR friends you’ll have! To chat with, to ride with, and to let you know where that leftover bolt from last Saturday’s maintenance should go!

You’ll also receive access to a private forum for Committee members only. The forum is to share ideas for spreading the VFRworld word and talk about progress.

But that’s not all! By referring new members to VFRworld, you could also win prizes from the VFRworld Store. Each time you tell someone about VFRworld, you will provide your existing username, which acts as a Referral Code. When they register, if they enter the Referral Code at the time of registration, you will be credited with a referral! Each quarter, the members with the highest number of referrals will win T-shirts, Books, Stickers, and other VFRworld merchandise.

How to Join the Tell the World Committee

So you're ready to join the Tell the World Committee? Excellent!

Step 1 - Join the Committee!

You can join the Committee at http://vfrworld.com/forums/profile.p...editusergroups. Just click on Join Group and you will be on the committee!

Step 2 - Introduce yourself on the Tell the World Committee Forum!

You now have access to a private forum for Committee members. You can access the forum here:

Introduce yourself and let us know that you've joined the Committee!

Step 3 - Contact your VFR buddies

The easiest way to Tell the World is to email folks you know that have or are interested in VFRs. You will find a simple-to-use form at the following URL:

When your friends click on the URL and register at VFRworld, you will get credit for a referral.

Step 4 - Request VFRworld business cards

If you are willing to help the Committee by distributing VFRworld business cards, just send your request at the following URL:

Be sure to include your full mailing address and how many cards you think you'll be able to distribute. Please note that the cards are expensive, so please only request what you feel you can utilize.

The back of the cards includes a place to write your VFRworld username. When people register on the site, they will include your username as a Referral Code, which will give you credit for a referral.

Step 5 - Keep track of your referrals

Check the Committee Forum for information about quarterly contests. The more referrals you send, the better your chance for winning stickers, tshirts, and other VFRworld merchandise.
