What does your username mean?

I started using SereniTTy on the Audi TT forum, I even have an abbreviated version for the license plate on my TT. Of course the Serenity part came from Firefly. I've been using that name for all the forums I'm on since.

 

I like to smoke HOOKAH alot and my nickname is Bear so HOOKAH+BEAR = HOOKAHBEAR

 

I love to cook on my barbecue and smoker, I'm quite good at it (not trying to brag) so grilldemon seems to fit

Ok, I'll go with the short version:

Back in1992 (yes, I've had this moniker for that long) there were (and still are) two traits that fit my persona to a 'T'. I always attempt to help those who help themselves - be that someone trying to get straight & sober to a person learning how to dance. I'm honor bound & honor driven based on a perceived sense of right and wrong but I always seem to look for the good in people. Some have classified that behavior as 'Angelic'.

However there is another side that crops up: Vengeance. When someone is crossed - in particular folks close to me (and I sometimes fall in that category) I seek to meet out justice as though it were an Olympic event.

Therefore my cyber-name comes from half 'Revenge' and half 'Angel'...hence, Revengel. I'm actually the second to have that moniker but the first to have it online.



Sometime I'll have to post about the first entity to take this name...but that is for another thread/forum...

Someone in the bear community who doesn't know what that is?

 

I have worked on cars since I was 16 and when I started playing online games I joined a group of guys called *Gen*, they had names like General electric, General anesthetic and so on so they gave me the nicname Repair and it has stuck for the last 10 years.

 

A furry can be:
* Someone who dresses in animal costumes and sometimes attends conventions such as Anthrocon and FurMeet
* Someone who is fond of anthromorphic animals
* Someone who draws anthromorphic animals
* someone who is a furry at heart
* someone who roleplays as one, in this case their avatar is usually what they play as but they dont act as a furry in RL... and some still do too
* there are the more darker taste furries that also "yiff" whether this be with animal suits or by artwork. And if you dont know what yiff is, simply is furry porn. As i said not so nice but not all furries are even remoted interested in this.
* if you believe such thing as otherkin, some therians portray the animal spirit within them through the furry fandom.
* some furrys are furry just cos they enjoy furry cartoons or comics or even books.

Theres many different ways to be furry, some physical others not. Some distasteful and others quite accepting. I hope that helps you a bit

And for the record a furry is a humanoid animal. This differs depending on how it is displayed. Whether thru artwork, an animal mascot costume or even virtual characters online. Most furries are often more human than animal, standing upright on hind legs, many, especially in art have hands and feet instead of paws (i prefer paws still) and also many where clothes. So a humanized animal would be the best description... Mmm and not all furries are the right colors. Eg, a blue cheetah with black spots or a black horse with a rainbow mane and tail.

Furries can be any furry animal, bird and sometimes reptiles and dragons are considered furry however the common term for them now is a "Scalie". They called it furries i assume cos there are a majority of furry animals in the fandom. Birds and griffins are sometimes called avians or avian furrys.

And in the end under all this fur, we're just ordinary people that have a passion for fur and animals

Hey guys my name is Nate. I'm an Airframe s/ Hydraulic mechanic on the E-2C Hawkeye and the C-2A Greyhound for the Navy. Nothing special just combined the two, slapped 33 which is my favorite number and wallah.

 

My member name is the same as it has been since 1994. I have a Ducati 888 LTD and this was my screen name before befoer most of the internet was even here

 

I am in Chicago. I just bought a '02 Vtec. Spent the day riding it and I am in love again. I bought a '97 new and had it for about a year. (unfortunately sold it)

My uname is short for Spanky Horawitz! I used to be a big Little Rascals fan growing up. Right about the time Yahoo started offering free email accounts, I thought I needed an anonymous account, and VOILA! Spanky Horawitz was born! I chose Horawitz to give it an air of a Big Banker w/o really being a real name. I think I was reading "The Creature from Jekyll Island" at the time. So there you have it!

I've had many bikes over the years including an 85 VFR and now a RWB 07 (which is what brought me here) but the turbocharged nos injected 1168cc 79 CBX is one I'm taking to m grave. Hence the name.
