So does this mean the 8th gen's Pearl White is slightly different than the 6th gen's Pearl White? I've seen a Pearl White 6th gen in person once but never side by side with an 8th gen to compare it.

The 06 is definitely a pearl. Maybe not exactly the same as the 8th gen. That I don't know. When I had mine painted, they used the paint code. But because it is a pearl, I believe it is a two part paint. Again, I am not 100% on that. When I got my wheels done, they powdered them with non pearl white and I think it looks fine.
