Has anyone every put a clutch kit in 1200 and took the judder springs out? Judder springs will slip under hard load on take off. I have replaced heavy duty clutches on other Honda bikes and took out the judder springs and could notice a difference on first take off.

Most all models have on the Honda bike. I had a Honda grom and it had them. I put a EBC clutch kit in it and it would jump out from under you. The judder springs are 2 skinny plates that are like a still clutch plate that fits behind the last clutch plate. It’s for riders that can’t take off smooth with a regular clutch makeing all take offs smooth. But under hard load they will make your clutch slip.

Notice how thin the last fiber plate is for the judder springs. The CB300 don’t have judder springs and will fit the grom. The cbr100rr I’m pretty sure they don’t have them. And that clutch kit might fit the VFR1200F

I do know that the GSXR 1000 uses the same main clutch spring as the VFR1200F so a GSXR clutch kit might fit.

None of the bad boy sport bikes use judder springs.

I'll have to look at a diagram and see if my fifth gen has them. They don't look familiar.

I just looked and mine has them, at least according to the schematic. Hmm, looks like I have to look at my bike now. I could definitely use a stronger clutch...
