Hopefully you already got moving. Maybe butt the ends together, splint with a nail or something and duct tape it up to get home?
Not sure that would work. Call AAA? Do you belong to AMA? They also offer free towing.

the rod had probably sustained earlier damage from a tip-over and cracked, seems it was already bent. there's no way that normal forces from shifting gears would cause that break. switching rods will require re-adjusting pedal position.

Thanks fam.. I got home safe alreadt. Thank god for the hommie n his crew i post up in fb, and the be riding thier ride not too far from where i am. He called his hommie with a tundra and scoop me up. Yeah it was my fault ti begin with lol i already bougth the part but to lazy to replace it hehehhe so "Delilah" once im done with dinner imma fix her up. When it comes to AAA club i do have one. Smh called them up found out that motorcyle and rv are not included into my membership lol. So i did added for 27 bucks. Then told me i have to wait 7 days to used it well at least they made me smile a little, the good news with the add on i get 100miles for a tow (for motorcyle only) 7 miles for a vehicle. So that hows my day went. Hehehe how bout you guys (fam) hows all y'all doing? Thank u for the tips as well.

Money well spent. I have got a tow from out by Acton a couple times in the last few years. Hate to think the cost if I did not have AAA.

Probably late now, but had something similar happen to a fellow rider earlier this year. we put the ends side by side and used a hose clamp to secure them together. Got him the remaining 200 mil;es home.

Add hose clamp to your duct tape and zip ties.
