Lumimoto Gold Gel Pack Kit!

Has anyone tried to install one of these on the stock seat? I am interested in the gel pack. They sell seat covers as well but to just have a cover at $179 just really sit well, but the gel pack is $80 and you install yourself. I did have a OEM aftermarket gel seat on my 2003 Sv1000s since the stock was unbearable for me. Down fall was the heat retention. I wonder if gel techno has changed much? I did love the feel of the seat but when letting the bike sit outside in 80-100 degrees the seat was at least 10-20 degrees hotter getting on it. I had to cover it when not on it in the summer.

 

I installed one my VFR stock seat. The gel pack and the cover about a month ago. I don’t have a long test time, but so far it is great. Will be interested to see what this summer will bring.

I got half a sheepskin the other day, whilst I have no problems with the stock seat , on my ave 300mile ride outs I am tempted to try it out and see what its like.
