Just got back from a great trip through the PNW, over the winter I did a couple tweaks to make the bike a little more comfortable doing mileage for me.

Puig Tour windscreen, worked great, nice little pocket to be in when laying on the tank bag.

MCcruise cruise control, absolutely awesome, works just like a factory cruise control.

Sargent custom built heated seat, after day one I put my Airhawk back on, Airhawks are a God send IMO, once I put that back on I was comfy and the heat from the seat still comes through just fine.

I added the 45 liter rear trunk, worked great and held what I needed it to hold.

The bike handled great, even with all the bags loaded, I did 4 clicks on the rear and she handled on rails all weekend. (FWIW I'm 150 lbs)

Was a great time, I met up with friends in Idaho and rode some amazing roads, good times! :)

Unfortunately had to make a donation to Washington... :Noidea:

Many indeed! We stayed not too far from Lolo pass, lots of great curvy roads following rivers and scenic's, absolutely stunning, good times!

Just ordered one for $107. I am looking forward to using it. I hope it works well. I have a bony ass and the pain can really be a problem after even after 60 miles if I don't move around a lot. Thanks for the advice. I was looking at a gel insert that cost $85 that you had to take apart the seat and cut out the foam to fit the gel in and re assemble. I like the ability to strap on. I do have a question of how secure it fits though. Is It tight enough to do some twisties at high speed?

The key to using an Airhawk IMO is less is more, let the air out until your butt touches the seat and then close the valve, the only air in it should be to fill the voids, if you feel like you're sitting on an air pillow you have too much air in it. Yes it fits secure and yes no issues at all for speed. I only use it when doing long distance and take it off when not.

Loving the Arrow, nothing bad to say about it, I run it with the insert out, great sound and no droning at cruising speeds.

Ah the despicable WSP. Hopefully your donation to their states coffers was not too expensive.

I got the air hawk that you have a day or so ago. I guess it is a matter of trial and error. I found it to be comfortable for about 5mins or 12 miles or so then the problem areas for me with the stock seat at 60-100 miles started right away. My ass just hates to be sat on I guess!;-) It was worth a shot and I will try a couple other inflation settings, but I think that I may be putting this one up for sale. Thank you for the suggestion. I was really hoping for a cheaper solution that a custom seat and even then it is not a for sure thing.

Well, trust me I have a lot of mass, just not under my pelvis and thigh bones it all moves outward and upward when I sit. :) Not saying I am a fat ass but it should stay down below. ;-)

I just pulled the trigger on an the Arrow, appreciate the pictures and crushing speed feedback. eBay has an awesome 20% off coupon and it came to $366 shipped.

Like I’ve said before try a sheepskin.
Other things to be aware of seams one yer shreddies,or if they ride up when you put yer breeks on.
Try a pair of padded cycling shorts
Most importantly getting out there and clocking up those miles toughening up those butt cheeks as you go along.

Is on the par with everything else. Would you expect to do a hard day’s labour swinging a shovel or pick or walk 20 miles and not expect a blister if you’ve never done it for a while. Same thing with your butt.

I haven't seen the MCcruise cruise control before. I've used a Throttlemeister before, but didn't use it much. This sure looks expensive! Did you install it yourself?

You talk as if you have seen my butt or know it personally! I'm quite offended and my butt more so;-) If you don't have any cheeks they cant be built up! And if you have good walking shoes 20 miles should be nothing. ;-) I thank you for your suggestions but being a Taff I will stay away from the sheepskin:deadhorse:
