Hey guys. We have to ourselves a brand new to the site Wicker. They are close relatives to our Newfies. Welcome Tat. I can only dream about the day I can ride around your neck of the woods. I would love to come out there with the fifth wheel in tow and have a serious look about. But just re-entered the work force so that is not likely in the near future. Maybe I will retire again in a couple years and wifey and I will make it out. Gotta try some of your screetch. The stuff we sometimes find out here is probably made from the by products of grandma filtering your stuff through bodily organs and pissing them out into a clean ladled bottle.

Another Canuck! Welcome, I'm in between of you and Randy. I'm new myself but this site has a wealth of knowledge. Enjoy and safe riding!

Welcome Tat! Nice 4th Gen! Right colour, too. I am right between you and my home province, which also happens to be the home province of Newfoundland Screech that Randy would like to have a thing for.

Randy, having had a ride with you in your - and my old - neck of the woods, it would be great to see you over here now for a ride! For now I still have a spare bike for guests of your stature.

    Cheers,
    Glenn

Hmmmm. My new job has put spare money in hand. All I need to do is work out the time. I intend oon making this new career part time by mid summer this year. Get the wife out in the fifth wheel for a few sets of days off then I could be in the clear.

There was a time during my first career, that I could fly on the Armed Forces flips quite cheap. Last time I flew to CFB Winnipeg from CFB Comox, it was $2.00 each way. You saw that correct. Two dollars. The box lunch the military served us was worth more than that. Don't know if those flights are still available but certainly not to me now that I pave retired from pubic service.

I've managed to hitch a few rides over the years, too. They were different times back then. They do make for good stories, though.

    Cheers,
    Glenn

    Good looks piece
I think at times we on the east coast are lucky when it comes to bikes, for the most part our riding season is short and if the bikes are stored inside there are some nice low miler's out here

Agreed Hingley we do tend to have some low milers around. But that short season just has so many other draw backs. Would like a few more weeks let alone months around here to enjoy the sun and my VFR.

Welcome to the site, enjoy the collective knowledge and nice job posting a pic before being asked. I too hope to make it out that way with the bike someday, seems like I fly in, rent a car for a day or two for work then fly home. There are some nice roads out your way.

Welcome. When you get a chance I would love to hear a clip of the Kerker on a V4. I had one on a Kz 1000, loved that sound.

Gator I have gone back to the oem exhaust, tend to flip flop. When I put that kerker back on will do on posting a clip.
I have recently run into charging problems, or lack thereof, and burnt connectors and the like. Thankfully I have you all on this site as a resource. Why not take advantage of what others have toiled to learn in the end eh. I also figure the bike turning 20 yrs old and to the best of my knowledge the charging system is oem, good on it, well done! The battery is also 3 + years old. So no messing around, ordered Rick's rectifier and a stator, the vfrness, and new battery. Worth every penny to get back on the bike and go where I will with no nagging what if's and now what's in the back of my head.
