The coils on my "almost road worthy" other VF have large/long lengthwise cracks.

Rather than getting used ones, I'd like to source aftermarket ones. I'm hoping someone has done this and can provide some guidance.

I've seen reference and Tom (of V4Spark) verified that these Accel coils would work.

However, I see that the exits of the coils seem to go "up" rather than "back" as the stock ones do. Do they actually get mounted as the stock units, or do they need to be relocated?

Dyna coils seem to have the same issue.

I have a VF750F (extremely close to the VF1000F as far as this kind of stuff) for a parts bike that has some Accel's on it from back in the day. They are mounted in the stock location with some custom brackets. I'll post a pic of the brackets and routing later if you like.

I was thinking today that a set of small 90 degree brackets might work.

So I'd love to see what your setup looks like.

    Thanks,

Yep... That's exactly what they did. But it might have been a kit, the brackets look better than the usual hack job.
