I went by today to get a jug of 10w/40, and it looked like they were out of business. If this is correct, I am sad to see them go. Old memories of that place, YZs and RMs stacked deep...good old days.

A Suzuki dealer here in So Cal (Southland Suzuki) is closing too. Have to wonder if this is due to online competition or an indication of slow economy.

Good question...the UJM lacks popularity in certain demographics. Harley Davidson is always strong around here, and with all the elites and their cash, the UJM lacks the boutique appeal of Ducati, BMW, etc.

Business is down in the motorcycle trade. The Boomers with deep pockets are retiring from riding and the next generation is paying off college debt and saving to buy a house.

I have confirmed that Jarman's Sportcycles, the oldest Yamaha dealer in VA, has permanently closed.

Thanks to everyone there, the fond memories will live on.
