Today within a couple of hours i own my first VFR800F GREY METALLIC, brand new.
Have ride on a CTX700 DCT for two years and i find it was time to change to
a more sport bike like the VFR.
Years ago i have ride on a YAMAHA 50CC tree times around the world
Maybe a suggestion for my first 1000km.?, softly riding, read the honda book?.
I hope to ride slowly and learn from the VFR.
Greetings to YOU all , find here so many to read and stuff to learn.

    Welcome to the forum!

Post some photos of your new ride as soon as possible. We tend to be visually stimulated.

Welcome and congrats! Yes, let's see some pics of that new color - does Honda call it "Grey Metallic" in Germany? I think they call it "Digital Silver" in Australia and U.K.

As far as what you need to do for the first 1,000km, my (USA) owner's manual says to do the following, but only for the first 500km:
    1) avoid full throttle starts and rapid acceleration
    2) avoid hard braking and rapid downshifts
    3) ride conservatively
The maintenance schedule calls for adjusting/cleaning/lubing the chain after 800km and then the first service is due at 1,000km (changing oil and filter, checking idle, brakes, head bearings, and all the nuts and bolts).
After you've broken it in you'll also want to get it professionally cleaned - here's an instructional video showing the proper procedure :D
