Take the long way home

I think there's something terribly wrong with my VFR - it took me almost an hour tonight to get from the gym to my house only 2 miles away - this was after 11 pm with no traffic - I wonder what the problem could be? Here's some pics I took of her tonight - isn't she lovely?

 

I think most of have had that same issue on occasion. More than once I get about half way to work and at a crucial intersection I have to turn south to head into the city to get to work but sometimes I seem to sit there for a minute or two talking myself into not heading North and calling in sick....

I had a project in Sacramento which had me there for at least a week. I decided to ride my 6 Gen there as I knew I could hit some good roads on the way back. I did and it was awesome, although it was a LONG week anticipating the ride home!

 

Sorry to hear that - yeah the weather is almost perfect here this week - I would prefer it was a few degrees cooler actually.

Looks like great snowmobiling weather!

 

My work is only about 1.5 miles from my house. It takes me about 5 minutes in my car. I can walk it in about 20 minutes, but sometimes it does take me over an hour on my VFR, depending on the weather.
