Firefox is referencing the protocol most likely. VFRW is using HTTP and not HTTPS.

https is now the default connection to the internet, financial site have been using this for years because it is secure. Most of the problems people have are due to the secure certificates that need to be installed on your machine. Some browsers treat them different ways. A secure certificate is a file that says your machine is secure and will let you logon in the future without too much hassle. More and more legitimate sites are moving to the https protocol, smaller sites will take a little longer. Very involved, suggest you get someone close by to help you.

If you want to get a handle on how fast your connection is, go to www.dslreports.com and run the speed test for your type off connection.
