BSB race 2 was just as good, Brad Ray took the Suzuki to another convincing win, Haslam managed 2nd and Dan Linfoot took the Fireblade to a decent 3rd ... Shakey was 5th

Ellison slid off, just like he did so often last year ...

The Superbike race was held on a fairly dry track but wet patches on many corners

The Supersport race wasn't so lucky, not rain just wet, 5 bikes off in the warming up lap, including one almighty smash when one rider ran into the bike in front

So hard to judge wet patches, surprised there were more offs.

Michael Dunlop has just signed with Paton to ride in the lightweight class at the TT this year, both sides are delighted with the deal

Now he's slimmed down a bit Michael stands a good chance of winning, he's the first to admit he was carrying too much weight, saw him recently and he reminded me of a young McGuiness

Talking of whom John McGuiness has signed with Mugen again along with Bruce Anstey and Lee Johnston to ride the electric bikes this year, hopefully if wont be the whining parade of previous years

The whole TT is getting to be yet another event destroyed by the the people who enjoy it, Monster Energy are putting up scaffold tube grandstands at all the best spectator points and charging a fortune, also denying access to the supporters who used to use those viewing points for years, including the locals

I'm just glad I went when I did, it's a circus now ....final straw was Monster Energy took over everything from the TT organisers, including merchandising, so no more TT supporters club t shirts

That's really sad. That was the whole appeal of TT. The rawness of it. That non commercialization of it.

As Cal put it, he’s a cat, drop him off a roof and he always lands on his feet! Ironically, he is his own worst enemy at times.

Marquez shouldn't have been allowed to start, the rule book is quite clear, engine stalls, you stay on the bike with Right hand raised, you CANNOT delay the start

Having ignored that he turned the bike around facing the field .... Black flag move

He was told to start from pit lane ....he didn't and ignored the instruction from a race official ....Black flag move

The organisers had already set the tone in Moto3, Dorna are to blame, they should have stepped in before

Repsol had that race by the balls, then the wheels fell off when they actually had to line up and race. They lost their way beginning with qualifying and it just got worse from there.

Gotta be watching the progress Gagne and Jacobsen. That Honda has been looking like a different machine with a full year of development and Camier at the controls. It would be a refreshing change to see Honda actually start doing some heavy lifting. It would likely benefit Jake and PJ as well. They have three really decent riders now, they should be able to develop the package with a little support from the factory. Time will tell.
