Rae edging ever so closer to breaking records! Tied with Fogarty with the most wins (59), so looks like he’ll pass that this year. If he gets another title this year too, definitely setting the bar a little bit higher.

Nice to see Rea on top after the long dry spell on the Honda.

The second race was very good with Chaz and ea dicing it up. Chaz stood up Rea big time in a corner but it only took a short while before Rea took the lead for good. Tying Foggy is unbelievable, going to be the WSBK goat for sure. Have not watched SS yet.

Another impressive ride was Ana Carrasco, she now leads the WorldSSP300 championship and was untouchable in yesterday’s race. Puts a whole new meaning of riding like a girl!

Plus Johnny Rea is a nice bloke, Foggy is an arrogant mofo and was/is a dangerous rider

What odds Rea calls it a day in WSB if he wins this season and moves to MotoGP ?

One of his main reasons for staying in WSB was he could travel with his kids, now ones at school and the others not far behind

JL has set the wages benchmark ...

Not sure at his age if he would make the leap. He has been in a few GP races, I think back when he was with Honda. I think he rode for someone at the last Laguna GP race.

Three in a row for Honda/MM - might as well crown him the champ with just a quarter of the season done! :D

Don't know if your coverage included the corner where MM took it regularly with the bike on his left knee, anyone else would have changed their line

Yeah it was some cool slow motion in that corner. Showed him lose it and regain control. Crazy.

Well, after yesterdays race, it's a moot point....there won't be a championship for Ducati this year either.

I have not watched Moto 3 yet but I heard it was again the best race by far.

Going to have to find a replay, my DVR screwed up this weekend. I can’t believe the guy jumped dirtbike style and landed it and went right back on the race track.

Unfortunately, JR's chances of getting a MotoGP ride are slim to none. There have been many articles with team principles/owners/crew chiefs, where they make it clear they do not think any form of "production based" racing is a stepping stone to MotoGP, and they don't even look at those riders; I mean, totally ignore them. Not saying it's right at all, but, them's the facts. So, it's not JR's (or any of them) choice to make. They call it the Spies affect...

Based on what happens with Suzuki, Jorge could actually find himself without a ride next year; think on that one a minute... I'm not a fan at all; but, a rider with his proven record, left without a ride? And the team's are talking bringing riders up from Moto 2 or even 3 in his place? That's crazy... But, as you mention, he has also priced himself out of a ride potentially as well...

I doubt that Lorenzo would be left without a ride, he’s too good.
What I wonder about is the Ducati’s, it’s been proven over and over that they’re a hard bike to ride and they don’t suit most riders.
They have to play to the same rules as everyone else, and there are many V4’s and IL4’s out there that are good bikes, so Ducati have to either make a bike that most people can ride or pigheadedly persevere with them donkeys until they find someone who can win on the damn thing.
It’s not like they have hundreds of wins to their name.
I reckon Lorenzo will go to Suzuki.

Based on articles I've read, there is strong likelihood that JL may not get that Suzuki ride; Danilo Petrucci or perhaps even teammate Jack Miller are vying for his seat at Ducati, while Suzuki appears to be inclining towards signing Joan Mir, rather than Lorenzo or Andrea Iannone. A decision on Suzuki's second rider is expected at Mugello. If they choose someone else, Lorenzo could find himself without a ride for 2019.
