Hey guys and gals i need help. My 1994 vfr 750 was running like a bute, bike got flooded out with gas, didnt realize it until i changed the oil 3 months later it didnt run at all during that time, so after i flushed the bike 3 times with new oil to get all the gas out i trued to crank it up and all i heard was a screeching sound come from the right crank case cover, i took the cover off and found out my stater reduction gear was not spinning correctly so i removed it cleaned it up and reinstalled it tightened down the crank case back to normal and now the starter wint even spin, unless the cover is off need help fixing this issue please i have tried everything it will spin by hand but not when cover is on the engine.
Most likely you misplaced or lost the fat washer that goes on the shaft behind the starter drive reduction gear. (second time today for this answer !!)
