I,m on my first trip. With my vfr and the zero gravity screen sucks.

I need to get the air flow up about 4 inches. What works? A different screen or a lip on this one. Help m3 out and I,ll order to have it shipped to my destination.

    Thanks

Depends on how tall you are, I would say.

I have no experience of the Zero Gravity screen, but I can say that the MRA Vario Touring screen for the 6th gen didn't do as much as I wanted, and that came highly recommended from some user on here. It still produces irritating wind noise against my helmet independent of the position of the screen lip.

I'm 6,2 feet (190 cm) tall, so your results may vary. And my helmet is a Shoei NXR (which I think is called RF1200 over in the USA).

Installed MRA approx 4.5”x14” , mount requires drilling windscreen and helps with some noise and buffeting, but I’m only 5’9, if it were 4” taller it would go to quite zone, my only complaint on this bike, like my headphone music while cruising but over 60 the wind noise gets up there, otherwise I like it better than not on.

I've been using the MRA Vario Touring screen. It's awesome.

Previously, I used the Givi Touring screen, it was ok, but even better with the MRA Xscreen added.

Go with the MRA Vario ... it's probably the best touring screen for this bike. I've put over 30,000km's on my MRA Vario and love it.

You will never get quiet zone without some custom mods. Put in ear plugs, I put mine in, and my Cardo sounds even better than without, and it protects your ears from the highway noise.

Yes. The Vario COMES with the wing and the main screen. The XScreen is an add-on wing for other wind screens.

I got the Vario without the wing and added it later. They are great wind screens.

I got it from them, but it was a long time ago, they must have changed.

Another recommendation for the MRA Vario Touring screen, I am 5'7" tall and find it suits me fine. Had it on there a few years now and wouldn't change it for anything else. Took a couple of rides to get the adjustment just right but lovin it.

Damn it, I need to lose some inches... *warms up the reciprocating saw*

There is no difference for me at all between the original Honda screen and the MRA Vario Touring. And that sucks. Well, it was only $160, so no big loss.

I'm 6'0" .... I notice a huge difference. It puts the wind right at my eyes vs. on my chest.

I second everyone who finds the MRA Vario makes a huge difference. The noise level is less than half of what it was with my PUIG bubble screen. I'm six foot even and it's the best addition I've made so far to the bike. $180 and well worth it.

I bought the top screen and fitting kit for a Givi Airflow A330 and fitted it to my '07 VFR800, I've also added bars and risers to make it an upright riding position like the X model, screen works a treat and is adjustable up and down. I'll try and add photos later if anyone's interested.

I changed from the Honda double bubble to the Givi touring. I like it a lot, much more comfortable at motorway speeds.
