1998 Honda VFR800 For Sale with extras $2,000 obo.

Always garaged and maintained. All services up to date, including valve check, hydraulic fluid and coolant and replacement, oil and filter, etc, done a little after 80,000 miles. Now has 82,xxx miles and runs good. Tipped over but never crashed. Looks fine from 5 – 10 feet. I am the second owner since Jan 1999, but it is time to move on to a newer bike.

Bike is mostly stock. New (250 miles) Avon Storm tires.

Has Jardine exhaust canister, plus stock can.

LSL handlebar conversion kit installed, includes stock clip ons and Gen mar risers.

Givi Monorack, 5th gen VFR specific. Chinese knock off top case fits well, plus extra bits from other case that arrived broken.

Also have stock rear seat cowl in good condition. Passenger grab rails in good condition, with all 4 bolts and washers. Frankenstein bolts and washers, and 2 small plastic triangles for use with the grab rails. A small plug that says VFR and fits where the rear seat cowl tab goes, when seat cowl is not in use.

Extra used wind screen, used Lockhart Phillips tank bra, extra fairing bolts, plastic clips, etc.

Pics: My pics don't want to load, even when down sized. PM me or see the other site.
    Bike is in Reseda, CA.

If the package seems expensive, you can always sell some of the extras for a rebate of sorts.
Sell the seat cowl and grab handles. You can't use them with the luggage rack and case anyway.
Or, sell the rack and case. Either way you can probably get $200+.
Then there is the stock clip ons. Or the LSL kit was a bit north of $300 new.
I would keep that, it's awesome imho. So, sell the stock clip ons and Gen mar risers, maybe $100?

Still can't attach pics. "The following error occurred. There was a problem uploading your file."
    Friday bump! :Cheer2:

It doesn't need an engine. Valve check was done and all. 85k is nothing!

New tires with 250 miles now were north of $400 installed.
Good running engine and good frame included.
Plastics have some scratches but no cracks that come to mind except the front fender, and I plastic welded that.
Hopefully I can do better than $1500. :)

Kind of sad to see it go, but time to move on to newer stuff.
Down to one bike, now I can shop for real.

I just go for n+1 - n being the # of bikes I own. It doesn't meld with reality all the time but gosh darn it, I try!
