    Hey guys,

So I have a 5th gen having a bit of a hiccup. The bike has 51k on it, and recently had some overheating issues that I've fixed, but now I think I might be having trouble with my stator and just want to be sure before I go buy a new part. I was shutting the bike down when it was hot in Philly traffic and starting it back up, and now it seems as if the starter won't hold a charge. I've bump started the bike and ridden it around enough to where I thought it would continue holding a charge but it won't. Every time I turn the ignition the fuel sensor sounds a little funny, I've got lights but when I try and start it, it will try to turnover and I usually only get 1 or 2 slow cranks before it runs out of juice.

I'm thinking maybe because I had it running so hot that I might've burnt a connection or somethings corroded. Haven't gotten a chance to mess with it yet, just wanted to see if you guys had any opinions before I buy a anything.

    Thanks!
