    Hi all,

I'm in the process of checking my valve clearances and found that most are in range (but tight) except for the two intake valves on Cylinder #2 (0.004in instead of 0.006in). Is this worth re-shimming or can this be left as is? Would I notice anything odd?

Here's the link to my checklist spreadsheet with all of the results:

    Thanks!

I'd re shim as thy bible says .005 is as tight as it should be, mine are all .006s but for one .007 on the intakes. All exhaust are .009s with one be a sloppy 9 but not a .010 You more than likely won't notice any gains nor running better but, knowing the valve is tighter than it should be gives no room for error, so guess it depends on how you'll sleep?

Yeah, I just want everything to be perfect... :) And you are absolutely right... I should not mess with Thy VFR Bible

So I guess I will at least re-measure tonight to confirm, and then I'll start removing the radiator... fun fun fun!

    Cheers!
