Though the files herein are shot through with lavish praise for Daugherty Motorsports VFR suspension stuff, I want to reiterate what a transformative effect his suspension components have had on my 5th Gen. There is no doubt that stock suspension quality is the Achilles' heel of most generations of VFRs, though they were not bad for their day. But, suspension quality has moved on significantly over the last 15 to 25 years. Fresh Daugherty suspension will go a very long way toward modernizing the feel of your bike; color me impressed. For roughly $1100 for new fork inserts and springs, and a custom rear shock, your VFR will thank you, and you will thank Jamie.

Yep. All three of my bikes have had their suspensions redone by Jamie.

Yep ,, what ^ this dude said. And if you're lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time as I was today at the Ridgemotorsport track today, a well known guru that sets up suspension just happen to be there. Luck had it I got to ask if I could get is professional opinion on how mine felt to him. He did a quick check this and push that. Went Hmm, got his one of fancy little screw drivers did a twist here, re set the rear shock reservoir fluid control as he is also a go to guy for Penske. then had me crawl underneath to give the shock a couple clicks right. Bingo, And here I thought it was good before, Now, wow.. yes Cool beans. :) You know that saying, you don't know, what you don't know, yea, that applies here too.

Yea, seems that way of late, though I'd rather have a winning lotto ticket. Now let me add one more , so A guy there at the track was on a 016 Tuono, we had a couple chats about this and that, seems as though he is looking for someones that would like to join in on a ride up to Mt St Helens this coming week, so I said in a joking manor, I'd join if I could give your bike a spin, and he replied back. no problem. Sheessh!! Think I'll stay away, to much tempting fate here.
