    Hi all!

So I am going to need some help, I finally have figured out what to do with my 94VFR.

After looking at it for the past 3 years and never being satisfied with the color or look of it, I have decided to turn it into a street fighter. BUT i have absolutely no idea where to start.

I know most of the people who have turned their VFR's into streetfighters have created everything by scratch (subframe, seat, fairings ect.) but as to someone who doesn't have all the tools and materials to build his own subframe and brackets I need some direction as to what else I can do! Maybe pull a subframe from another bike?

I hope someone can help me out with this!

so you have art or design credentials ?

imho, fewer than half of streetfighters look half as good as OEM. or just do what's trendy and cool ! then you'll be cool too ! :leghumper: Yeah, just follow the others.

My plastics are just in such bad shape, it looks so bad. Kind of takes away from the bike. I wish I could buy new fairings and have them professionally painted but Im broke, haha.

If you're broke, you're not going to be able to turn it into a street fighter either.
A good example will cost you more then fixing the fairings.
Nothing just bolts on, practically everything needs to be modified.
So if you can't make your own gear, you will have a very hard time.

If you want to clean up the plastics for cheap, here's a great video.

Anything you're gonna do to the bike is gonna be pricey unless you have the time, skill and materials to do it yourself.

My moto looks great from afar, but really it's starting to show it's been in some rough riding.

So... me thinks... does it run? Can you ride it? Then put those plastics on and own the scars. And if the scars were embarrassingly earned, go make some new proud ones.

Just my thoughts. I know not everyone is into that and they want a beautiful moto... because beautiful motos are a turn on... but just a different perspective to consider.

You could always sticker bomb :)
