Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes have been testing the new Kawasaki, both had a couple of offs but nothing to worry about

Overall the bike, despite being 1,000 revs being knocked off the top end, has actually ended up with Sykes lapping Jerez faster than Marquez 2017 pole time

Was surprised to see Leon Camier come in third at one of the test they ran recently, hopefully Honda found something. Based on what the kawasaki's are doing, though, looking like they will be hard to beat again this year.

At the end of last season BSB saw Jason O'Halloran really pushing Shakey for 1st place, in the previous round Dan Linfoot had a comfortable lead until the motor blew up

O'Halloran said they only started making progress when they took all the HRC race kit off .... I'd like to see Camier get a decent bike, he's been doing a great job on the MV and when he finally got it in front the electrics failed

Not sure about others, just noticed both Sykes and Rea come off and Rea having an off is very rare

Rea does an amazing job of staying on 2 wheels.

Like the time he made a ramp out of Davies! That was insane! Surprised he stayed upright and more surprised that Davies was able to walk away from it.

Yeah I though Chaz was in serious trouble, a really bad place to go down.

Weird, I know I saw a post somewhere with Davies mentioned in the testing but can’t seem to find it, even on the WSBK website. I recall seeing Lowes come in 3 on one of the test days but don’t recall any word on the Apes.

The Honda was doing respectable times with Camera. Baz is back, Torrs and the MV...... some interesting racing ahead. Even with the new lower rpm rules the Kawai looks to still be still doing very well. I hope we get to see Chaz doing a test on the V4 sometime this season.

It’s going to be a great season—love Rea but this year it’s

It's really too early to tell anything WSBK or MotoGP

I guess we can count on the usual suspects to be in the mix. I always look forward to the surprises through the year.

Anyone read up on tires this year in GP and WSBK?

So far, all I have heard about tires is what the new technical director for Michelin said during a MotoGP.com interview at the Sepang test...they brought the same tires for the test that were used during the Sepang Round in 2017. Don't really follow WSBK as closely.

I do like the Italian styling that has lots of various sponsors on their bikes LCR always had great looking bikes in my opinion, just wish that sometimes the commentators would just give a quick explanation of what or who some of the sponsors are

John McGuiness has signed for Norton in the Superbike and Senior TT in June, also sealed a deal with Mugen for the Zero TT ....his team mate Josh Brookes is delighted he's coming to Norton

Norton have agreed to let him ride other bikes as long as it doesn't interfere with their racing, so he's looking for a ride in either the 600 or Supertwins

He's spoken to the clerk of the course for the NW200, fitness permitting so he could be out on the Norton before the TT , he certainly sounds up for it

There's an interview with him and the Norton boss, plus a pic of the frame he's wearing to stretch his leg bones in this weeks MCN, more testing in Sepang too ....lucky escape for Pol Espangaro when his bike highsided over the circuit barrier smacking him into a wall at 130

That is really cool! I was skeptical when he said he was through, its in his blood.
