hey there. its kind of late but it my help in the future
i have used 2 sets on angel gts on my 2002 vfr ,, i got about 9000 miles on both rear and front. i use my bike only for commuting in San Diego CA. the grip is really good although i dont drag knee or anything. also i have the top case on the bike all the time. adding more wight to it. i would definitely buy them again, buuutt i just feel like trying something different next time, probably pr4. im nt sure yet
    [Q UOTE=Mousejockey;528893]Hi guys,
I am currently running Michelin pilot road 4's after having 2 sets of PR 3's and a set of PR 2's.
But although I find them a great all round tyre and good in the wet,
I am thinking of trying another brand ie Pirelli Angel GT
Does anyone have views on this tyre??

    Mileage ?
    Grip ?
    Wet weather Grip ?
    Handling ?
    On a 6th Gen Vfr800..
    Thanks for your input :)

Have the Angel GT's, and I'm very pleased with these tires. Good grip and turn in. Can't comment on tread life because I just got these tires from 4WO|Truck Parts & Motorycle last month. So far, tires handle great.

The link will take you to a pdf from this weeks' UK-based MCN magazine article on sport touring tyres.

For a different and entertaining industry perspective, there is a great Youtube channel called Fortnine from Canada, and I found their review of sport touring tyres was very informative.

I'm on my second Angel GT front on my ST1100, very very happy with it, got about 8000km of hard cornering out of the first one.
