For the life of me, I just can't understand you. Why in the hell would you have more than one wife? One is more than enough for me.

Didn't mean to make it sound like I had more than one lol. Highly doubt I can trick another into marrying me.

Wife used to ride with me most of the time.. take vacations with our bikes.. just life gets in the way..

I live on 2-wheel way before I met my wife, she knows what she got herself into, and would never let me give it up.
Likewise any of her interest/passion, I wouldn't ask her to give them up.

As in the OP, I need to find something that I enjoy to get exercise and was thinking about a mountain bike again.
I don't know enough about bicycles to tell what kind of deal this is, if at all. At the local flea market guy had couple high end looking bikes, but anything priced high makes me wonder.
This is the only pic I have, sorry, but wondering if anyone can tell approximate age and if fully functional, what it might be worth.

It is high end.. 2002-06 top of the line Shimano XTR drivetrain, Christ King headset, Santa Cruz is a reputable frame manufacturer, FOX suspension, looks like bike is in decent condition that it has not been ridden much off road.. though suspension equipment may need updating in seals.

    How much is seller asking?

Equipment wise, it's a bit much for casual rider just looking to get back into riding, it's a bike for a serious MTB'er who can appreciate the level of performance from top of the line components.

I get that, however I did buy a mtb that was more entry level and quickly hated it because my level would change the bike couldn't handle it. Plus I appreciate quality things and if a deal...

I think he was asking $700 for this one. There is also that voice in my head that looks at the seller and says, "how did you come to have possession of this?"

Did you buy the Santa Cruz for $700?

Typical used market value would be near $1000, in well used condition.. bike in pictured look like it seen minimal usage, very good price at $700.

It's been raining on weekends, I've completed my Chinese carbon bike, but can't get decent weather to head out for a test ride.

I haven't been back there since, though been meaning to. Unless he took $200 or so for it, there's a couple other things ahead of it that I need to use any budget for.

7 AM, I'm taking a nap on the Q train on my way to Brooklyn.
Scumbag black dude walked off the train with my bicycle, 10 other passengers within the train car didn't say a word.
I ran after the prep, grabbed my bike from him and got back on the train before doors closed, didn't have enough time push the intercom button to stop the train & go after the scumbag.
I'll be looking for him for sure.

Put the bike upside down and get the back wheel spinning like mad. Stick that fukkers fingers in the spokes. Problem solved. I hate thieves.. I've had two expensive bikes stolen from me. The police would not be called if I ever caught one of the scroats.
