Now we're talking although being a bit of a AC/DC Traditionalist would have gone for " Let there be Rock "

    John,

No sweat. We all have faults. Just the other day I referred to a Harley as a motorcycle.

Not a bad tune for being 47 years old.

This may become the longest thread in the history of this entire site eclipsing the threads about favorite weather, movies and cheese.

    ;)

It has religious overtones and I am not the slightest religious. But I like the songs and music for just that. Spirit in the Sky by Nowman Greenbaum put me in the zone. As far as inspirational songs, I find Elvis Presley"s "If I could Dream" to be right up there. And another would be "Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong.. There is an old boogie song that put me in zone when I sit down at the keys with a few drambuis under my belt. I am sure no one here recognizes "The Boogie Woogie" from sometime in the 30's or 40's. Simply put, there are for too many to fit in here. Music really is an escape for me.

If I were to post for each song or piece of music I like, we would crash the server. Only thing I don't like is Lawrence Welk. :flock::flypig::lalala::violin::sleep:

There ya go, I was thinking along those lines too, or something from Aero Smith.
Today's stuff is great and all, but most are a hear today, gone tomorrow. Oh yea and who can go down the road without a little Who? Still, there's quite a few, so no one stand out in my mind, this should be an interesting thread.

This answer changes every six months but right now for "coolest" song, I'ld have to go with "A thousand kisses deep" by none other than Leonard Cohen!
