Have a 2004 VFR 800, noticed today maple keys inside Headlamp Bezel. Have no idea how they got in
as it appears to be a sealed unit. Any suggestions on how I can clean out ? IF I removed headlamp unit,
can I get inside to clean. Any help is appreciated. Thanks folks.

There are a couple bulbs in each.

Could remove the front bits, take both fixtures out, remove both bulbs, and try to get at it that way.

While in there inspect the fixtures to see of there are any places that could have let them in and then seal up.

You will have to remove a few things like the windscreen and mirrors, but super simple stuffs. Be mindful of the temp sensor attached in the front bottom nose of the cowl when you remove stuffs so it doesn't rip.

If you do this, when you are ready to put everything back together, be mindful that temp sensor fits nicely between the fixtures and the leads do not get trappped or smashed in stuffs. How do I know? :/
