    I don't see a problem with using a hammer I've got one that I've been using for years.......

    This is my inch/lbs one I lent my Ft/lbs one to a buddy and he never gave it back

    Like crap. I'm finally talking to insurance about settlement. I have half use of my shoulder and take pain pills and muscle relaxers every night. But seen a harley dudette the other day riding and my mind said "You can do that." Of course that wasn't the harley or the dudette I said that about, but riding.

    Harbor freight has really cheap torque wrenches. Shame on you brother. Do it right or do it twice, or hope someone has life insurance on your ass!

    the hammer torque wrench is only for china torque wrench because that's about how good they are.:banana:

    lol took me a few minutes with the bench grinder and just happened to have a dead torque wrench laying around and an old broken body hammer. Poof a Torque Hammer

    OK, so when I buy my torque hammer do I want it in Newton-meters or ft-lbs.?

    Depends on what you are working on..... For Metric you need n/m and for Imperial you need ft/lbs. as for type I think you would be best off with something that beeps when you "hit" the right torque so you can hear it over then wack of the hammer.
