Oh dear God! - If I was single and twenty years younger....! Great pics RVFR. All the reviews I've read so far say its an awesome combination of brakes, engine and suspension. Also read that Ducati will be also offering it in yellow.
*Heavy sigh* 'Fraid I wont have the dilemma of having to choose between the tri-colour or the black.

I hate seeing that bike. My VFR get jealous anytime she hears me mention the other woman. We talked about it and decided that newer is not always better and how she never let me down. I promised her I'll do my best to be faithful...

Thanks RVFR you always come up with the best pics ever!

I have to say, if my bike search had started with the 1098 as the top price unit I was looking at instead of the BMWR1200S (17K) I may not own the VFR now.

I just couldn't justify 17k for the beemer, not when I could find a cherry VFR for 7K. Much different rides of course but this Duc is a homerun not seen since the 916.

Try camping off the 1098 though...toothbrush, get out of jail free card, wipes to clean off the tank...:hail:

    Bravisimo on the pix RVFR!!!

While we all love our VFR's... the 1098's skirt is just too hard to NOT look at!

No other recent bike has grabbed my attention like this one. One touch, and I will be done for, for sure!!!

No ride as of yet, only got to sit on it. as this 1098 was all ready bought. thou as it worked out the owner saw the photos on the inter net and was spell bound. He humbled me when I saw him today by asking if he could pay for some, I in turn said Hmm lets talk about a ride swap instead? guess what he went for it. So soon if the weather stays decent, I'll have that ride report.. VBG.

Ya think he's a happy camper?

I got a chance to get a good close look @ one of these last weekend @ the Cycle World bike show in Minneapolis. I have to admit the 1098 is liquid sex on two wheels; if money was no object my stable could use a sexy new italian.

I got to hear one run yesterday. It sounded like it wanted to bite someone's head off. I loved it! My best friend is getting one so maybe I'll be able to talk him into letting my ride it. I'll be sure to let you know how good it wheelies.
