Finally announced, road bike to be 205 bhp, £19000, $24k,
    S 210 bhp £23,500, $29,000,
    R 230bhp £30,000, $37,500

Several hazy pics of at least 3 prototypes in MCN all have single sided swing arm however could be the R at least has a double sided

The engine is to be 1000cc with possible 1100 for the road, although the text makes it fairly clear that boring it out is a non starter

Nothing of any consequence about the frame or lack of ....basically what GatorGreg posted above

They do seem to have made a tidier job of the wiring than this would lead you believe

Skids posted a link to this vid on the other forum recently. However, some of the commentators on the YT vid think it's really just the MotoGP bike being tested.

You are Killing me! You finally did 55 mph in a 35 mph and then you went for Ice Cream at McDonalds. First of all Mcyd's does not have true Ice Cream. They invented a plastic based edible filler. Enjoy. Go get Ben & jerrys at the store for true "Iced Cream" :). Take Care.

So it looks like to get the new Panigale V4's exhaust to exit in front of the rear wheel like on the current Panigale they had to put all that ugly-ass exhaust tubing under the rear seat? Perhaps they should have just abandoned the idea of having a completely exposed rear wheel and gone with a more traditional exhaust like on the Aprilia RSV4 or VFR?

The interesting thing about the engine is two cylinders fire at the same time, a V4, that fires like V-Twin. I still prefer the sound of my V4. I'd definitely like the 210 ponies tho.

Yeah, the "twin pulse" firing order is a little weird. I definitely prefer the standard V4 firing order. Can't blame Ducati for trying to keep the sound similar to a V Twin though, and making it a little unique. Apparently twin pulse was tried in MotoGP for a little bit but discarded because it put too much stress on engine components...?

MotoGP bikes all use "twin pulse" or "Big Bang" firing order. I don't think there are any "screamer" engines anymore.
