    Maybe not "forced" but kept in the open position permanently.

    Has anyone tried it?
    Does anyone with engineering knowledge have anything to say against doing this?

    I don't really care about the sound changes but that smoother performance at low RPM would be nice.

    Also morally opposed to inhibiting the bikes ability arbitrarily, so if it's just for emissions then I'm inclined to do it.
