Its not very loud. My two brothers pipe on my last bike was louder. It does come with a noise killer but trust me, you wont need it. It has the perfect pitch...and look.

I finally bit the bullet and bought the DAM....
I really can't say anything but good about them, after 2 e-mails I got a
reply back with pricing and options. I choice no silencer so DAM discounted
the exhaust. He ended up rush shipping it for free. Way easy to install and
sounds amazing. I can't explain it but it kinda takes the lines of the old factory
exhaust which I actually liked the look of. And his paypal worked fine.
Just an update for those of you interested.

Lucky dog. Post up some pics once it's installed. Just out of curiosity, what did it cost you to get it here to the states? And why, oh why, don't they have a US distributor?? Anybody fitted the Dam with Givi V35 side cases??

Well then, ordered March 6th, still don't have a shipping notice. Sigh. 30 minutes after posting this I got a tracking number, can't wait. They were behind schedule do to illness it seems. I have always received a timely response to my e-mails from David.

About 650 shipped, due to their reputation and the attention to styling detail in regards to the Vfr1200, I thought the price premium was worth it. I'll let you know how the install goes.

I probably would've gone with the DAM, if mine didn't already come with the 2Bro M5 Titanium can. I need the V35s installed before the last week of April, so looks like I'm gonna have to hack a couple of inches off the 2Bro.

"Decellerating produces a nice loud burble, with lots of pops that I suspect will go away when I remove my PAIR system to install the Power Commander Auto Tune oxygen sensor."

Could'n agree more with you for I'm more or less "in the same boat"!
From your words I assume you have already installed Power Commander (main module) and are going to install the Auto Tune module, wright?
In that case how do you plan to "remove" the Pair system? Simply disconnect the Pair valve for auto tunning and connect it again after this procedure is complete?

Only if it's on the bike and you throw it down the road on its right side. After which they'll probably raise your annual premium more than the cost of that muffler. Just think, if you could actually sell that muffler for half of new price, you could buy a DAM.

Tell you what, lshark, I have one hanging in my garage too. I'll buy yours if you buy mine, both for $1300. That way Dave owes us each $20.

Arrived and installed; installation was easy with the pics and instructions emailed by David. Once he contacts you he readily responds to all emails, the man cares about his work. The product? polished stainless steel, pipe and muffler one unit; a quality piece. The sound? Completely changes the character of the bike, throaty without being obnoxious. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested, It really is a custom exhaust. Pics this weekend.

Hey peoples - I also like the look of these DAM exhausts but not sure how they fare with the Honda hard sidecases installed. I notice Remus sell two options in their aftermarket exhausts, the standard sporty looking one and a low mount kit for running with luggage. I have a 2010 VFR with luggage so need to make sure if I splash out on the DAM it will serve both with and without. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

On the Dam exhaust website they have pictures of a VFR with the pipe and bags on. I ordered my a week and a half ago and I am waiting like a kid waits for christmas. Dave got behind for some reason. I hope it comes soon, I need some sound.
