I have one on mine and love it. Best sounding bike in town. Get a Bazzaz Z-bomb to go with it and you will be very happy.

Hi guys, new member. Just bought my brand new 2010 VFR. Can you imagine. 2013 and there's still 2010's out there. What a waste. The problem here in Canada, Quebec. The VFR is considered sport. So the price is + or - $2000,00 a year just to put it on the street. Anyways. That being said. Just love this bike. I read all of you for the ''Dam'' exhaust. WHERE do we get it??? If I go on there site. It says the company closed in August. Can anybody give me a lead exactly where to get it.

    Thanks Brothers,

    Thanks Cafox.

Did what you said. David actually replied very quickly. Wow. But it is surprisingly expensive. With Euro exchange, will cost + or - $1400,00 and will have transport and custom fees. So will wait a bit. Just bought for $2500,00 (Side cases, Top case, center stand etc).

It's a shame that we don't have direct access in the US. Cause that dam pipe sounds and looks real nice. Will have to think to sell chocolate bars for the scouts to buy the exhaust. lol.

    Thanks again,

    Kid

Your welcome and welcome to the forum, I should be posting some pictures of my bike with the mods I have been doing. I am just waiting for the pipe to get here.

Can I ask you how much you paid? Simply want to compare. Let me know how it is. From the look on youtube, it's the nicest one I think. Giving the real beauty of the open wheel which should be exposed. But I'd like to know the quality as well.

I paid $498.96 euro which ended up $690 us, that included the Sport Noise killer and the tax for Paypal. It does look like it is good quality, and I like the name on the can instead of a plate on the outside with some rivets to keep it attached to the can. I hope to have it this week.

Like you, the DAM was my first choice, but I just couldn't get past the price by the time I got it here to the states. I ended up purchasing the GPR Ti slip-on and haven't regretted the decision yet. I installed it at the end of May and have put on about 4k miles with it with still no complaints. You can find them on Ebay HERE, but it was actually cheaper to buy direct from them, although I find their website to be a bitch to navigate. I paid just over $300 USD to my door. A steal at that price. You can find a thread I started on it HERE if you have any interest.

But your info says you're in Quebec.

That's fine, but VFR Kid already said he couldn't swallow the price of the DAM at this time, and it's his first choice. Not likely he'll spend more money for something that ISN'T his first choice. I just mentioned the GPR because it's half the price of the DAM.

The VFR Kid will get what he can afford. I wanted the carbon fiber Akro which is $800, on that website. I opted for the DAM because it was $690 with the Sport Noise killer. Both pipes are very nice so I figure I can't lose getting either one. Plus the DAM looks really good with the Givi V35's which I want.

i prefer the look of the Akro, very happy with it...the quality is outstanding, sound is just right for me with the insert left in....i'm not debating anyone's choice, just offering my experience to those who have yet to decide....
