I have a small tank bag and am waiting on a Joe rocket Manta XL tank bag (said to be medium sized to come in the mail.

Tank bags and back packs are great, but you can't lock them up and have to carry them with you.

I have saw a couple pics of a rear rack that sit just above and behind the rear part of the seat as well as a hard case in a similar location.

Curious if anyone knows of either an inexpensive rear rack or some kind of lockable hard cases for the VF- F series.
I am trying to avoid high dollar boutique brand bags.

Surely someone knows of an inexpensive rack kit that can be fairly easily modded to fit the vf750f , don't want to go full custom fab, but a little cutting, welding ,prep and paint doesn't scare me.

I made one once from some rebar and an old school locker.

I have looked at a few pics but it is hard to see just what mounting points they used. You care to share where the mounting holes you used were or did you drill your own

The rebar and school locker were welded to the frame. I forgot to mention this was on a Harley I kept for aboot three months.
