Used to work on scooters a long time back. I've been adulting for a long time without one, but I'm getting pretty close to death anyway, so what the heck.
Picked up a 1995 VFR 750 with 1600 miles on it. It's been dumped....reconstructed title. Not the prettiest of repair work done on it, so it will be some work, but should be some fun.
Nice to have a little power again......

That's the story. It could even be true.
Allegedly the guy's (that I bought it from) uncle bought it new, and wrecked it the first summer, and it sat. Got traded to this guy for some other body work. It's had some bondo work done, and the usual attention to electrical and mechanical detail you get from a body shop (not a whole lot), so there are some things to iron out.
But the motor sure sounds fine.
Are there any great spots to find used parts for VFR's??

Welcome to the best group of shade tree mechanics and tall tale bearers on the web Andy.

If you get a chance, post some photos of your new two wheeler.
