It still looks like it's going to be heavy as an aircraft carrier...

Maybe they bought the engine designs from the now defunct EBR.

Wouldn't that be something? A 185hp Harley?!!? +100lbft torque too! That would definitely thin the Harley crowd out, through natural selection....

I really liked my vrod, lots of power, decent handling. They stopped making it because the Harley guys wouldn't buy it and most other people didn't know it was there.

Looks like they are trying to copy the Star Bolt. Oh, the irony!

Yamaha copied Harley, now Harley is copying Yamaha. You can't write this shit!

There is more horseshit justifications in this press release of an article than all of the Kentucky Derbies combined.

Like seriously, what in the actual f*ck are they even saying? Shit like
    And
Hey Harley, the 1980s wants their bike back. I've read the article and it sounds like pure spin on all the things wrong with a Harley to begin with. Shit, they're talking about motorcycle designs from 1936!!!!! You can't make this shit up!!!!!! Ahahahahahahah. I can't breathe I'm laughing so hard!

But doesn't the V-Rod have a BMW engine in it? Was it not a collaboration of the two companies? I did go down to the Harley dealer and looked at some of the bikes before buying the VFR. (had a aging moment) and the sales person had a used one and commented on the engine being a BMW motor. I and he could be wrong but that was the only reason I looked at it for more than 5 mins.

Shiver me britches... It must be so fast. I mean, it must be like starting off the stop sign in third gear on our bikes, instead of fourth!!!?

Yes, Porsche designed. Performance? Harley has to outsource that shit! And no "Harley guy (or girl)" considers them "real" Harley's. Yeah, probably because they have some power and can actually corners, dumbf*cks...

Oh that is correct! Sorry and thanks for the correction!:) I was only hoping it was BMW since I have a passion for their old vintage "Cages" that I hope someday will have FOOSE build me.:) 1973 3.0 or a 1973 2002 either with 400hp. :)

Actually they probably mounted the engine solidly to try and get rid of the "Harley Death Wobble". Rubber mounting a swingarm will rarely lead to a good handling motorcycle.

So, WTF is this bike (if that's it) good for? Frankly, I can't figure out what it would be better at doing than anything that is already on the market. I guess I'm too "functional" and not enough of a bad ass......?????
