Hello, just picked up a 04” VFR800! Loving it so far. I’ve owned a few bikes including a CBR600RR. The VFR has been amazing so far, wish I could’ve gotten one a long time ago haha Cheers!
Welcome to The World! We have a few members down your way and some of us OC riders make our way down there on occasion. Glad you like yours, as most of here feel the same way!
Nice machine. Glad you're enjoying it, and welcome to vfrw. I'm in San Diego too (north county) and will check in w you when rides come up. My VFR is currently down for regulator/rectifier upgrade, but should be back on the road in a week or so.
Hi and Welcome to the MadHouse The SoCal weather seems to attract VFRs. You pretty much miss out on the worst winter conditions. Over here we have a fair bit of snow already and my bikes are safely parked for their winter nap. If you are interested in meeting up, keep an eye open for plans to meet over Memorial weekend (search R3 for an idea of what happens). This year thanks to Long and kind offers from others in California a couple of us are heading over from Europe and hope to enjoy some of that weather next year, and maybe meet up then. Take care ATGATT SkiMad
Welcome to the world of VFR's. That's a nice example. And it even has the original fender and exhaust! LOL! Myself and OOTV will try harder and posting rides here. We ride a lot but are bad at posting up rides.
Thanks! Always down to ride! I’ve been so happy with it. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made for sure.
Hey Guys! I too am a new owner of a 2002 VFR800. Had it about 3 weeks and love it! I live in San Diego also and would be very interested to get together with some of you guys for a ride. If anyone is interested hit me up.
Hey Patrick, Welcome to The World! Be sure to make an introduction post of your own and also post a pic of your ride for good measure. Ideally we'll be able to muster up some folks to ride soon. Apart from these terrible wind and fire storms, the weather has been really great, let's hope that keeps up and the winds die down so our fire fighters can get a handle on these conflagrations.
