    I've been away from this forum for too long, glad to see this thread still circulating and that it benefited somebody. I look at my lift now I think it's pretty roughly made, but all I really need it for is changing a tire so no big deal. Also glad to see it provided a place for two "adults" to argue like old women and amuse us all.

    It looks great. Just as a precaution, think some gussets should have been added with that much weight on the weld joint. Either on the center or sides or dual gussets on both sides, but think one in the center would be enough. Would hate to have a bad weld there or crack over time.
