Honda VF500F2 85' - Some questions

I have a VF500F2, and I love it!

I have read many threads on this forum, but I still have some questions. I have changed oil, filter, airfilter and put on new coolant liquid.

1. I have filled up the reserve tank on the coolant system, cause it was almost empty. I did all the thing in the Clymer manual, turned it over so the air bubbles got out. But, should I drain it again?

2. What is the normal working temperature on this bike?
I have uploaded a picture where I have made red lines with a letter each. Mine is at A-B, is that normal? What is yours?

3. Can I test that the fan works? I have never heard it on?
(Where should the cooler fan kick in? Which letter on the picture?)

Hi Rune

I have a 1985 VF500f and it to runs the hotel at B in you picture. Mist of the time it runs at A.
I have replaced my fan switch with one from NAPA it turns on at 191*F and off at 182*F
NAPA p/n is FS130
