    Hello from Germany,

in Germany you get new VFR now 20% under normal price. I think the VFR800 should sold out. And everybody talks about a new one with 1200cub.

I found much fakes on webside about the new VFR. But which of these information are realy true? In some article stand, the VFR2010 comes in spring 2010????

Our Honda-Seller in Germany say, the VFR comes sometimes, and no one knows when.

Maybe knows this Forum more than other.

Cheers from Germany and sorry about my english.

    Kev

Kevin, your English is good enough to get your message across!

The current stock of 6th-gen VFRs is certainly priced right at many dealers, and is a very good deal.

Right now no one seems to know good hard information about the new bike itself, much less the timing on its introduction and which market(s) it will sell in.

aufviedersein! (see, your English is better than my German!).

I spoke to my local Honda dealer in Bitburg, asking about any news on the so-called new VFR. They said that typically honda is pretty good at keeping tight lipped about new bikes and they really only find out about 2 weeks prior to the general public release. The dealer did say though that from what they heard through Honda that Honda did in fact want to develope more than just one size or displacement of the V-4 motor, so there may be more to come, only time will tell...

    Welcome aboard, Kevin.
As you might have guessed this forum is full of colorful characters.
The new VFR has been rumored to be coming for several years now and we have been let down more than a few times. We are all anxious to see a real one some day, but are tired of all the latest rumors.
Honda does not let us know anything special. So, if the new one does come out, we will find out like everyone else.

Stick around and enjoy the show.

There is not much I can add to what others have said, but from a European perspective it certainly seems that the Honda PR machine is ramping up and a new VFR is a fair bit closer to release over here, than some people are making out. I guess as you are in Europe you will already be aware of the special website Honda have set up to encourage European bikers to register an advance interest in the bike - and participate in a competion which will give some lucky rider the chance to join the media test riders 3 day junket at the official press launch. If you have not seen it, full info is available here: Honda V4 - Alive and Kicking together with a few teaser UTube videos.

The home page is multi lingual so once you select your language you will be able to register in German.

By the way what part of Germany are you in? I quite often take my VFR out on the Autobahns north from Basle. If your nearby maybe we can meet up.

The translation was a little rough for me, but I registered on the German site. I'm about 30km north of Trier...

    Kev, where are you?!?!?!

I am in the military, stationed at Spangdahlem AB. I work, or teach younger people how to work on the A-10. I did enter the contest, I had hwlp with Google Translate, but I did know most ofthe words. I'm doing my best to learn German. It really helped when I was cooking in my local Gasthaus, but it is closed now.

I live/work in the French ski resort of Chatel - its just south of Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) and right on the border with Switzerland. (So about 650 miles from you.)

However I ride over to London two or three times each year and occasionally visit relatives in Aarhus in Denmark. So I have enjoyed using the Autobahn from Basle in Switzerland up to Hamburg when I am in a hurry. Once you get over the border into Denmark, the local roads along the Danish coast are stunning and were great fun when I went round on my old Suzuki. With luck I hope to go back on the VFR sometime next summer.

If you are struggling with the language "Babelfish" is your friend, and if you are intending to enter the Honda competition on Honda V4 - Alive and Kicking the answer is 1979.
