:-/ Just bought a brand new 02 and three times the bike has quit in gear, throttle closed and clutch lever in coming to a stop. I did bump the idle setting from 1250 to 1300 rpm but this is starting to sound like a bigger problem. Anyone having any luck getting this corrected..

Try reading the thread "Eng stalling" in this forum. It sounds like something similar to what you're experiencing.

I may have answered my own problem but I will share this anyway. I called Honda Motor Corp. in Torrance Ca. (310)532-9811 and althuogh they have not heard of this problem, they will open a file on your specific bike and have tech support for the dealer if it becomes necessary for repairs.. There answer was to get some more miles on the bike, right now I have 440, then be concerned if it doesnt clear up. anyways for whatever that is worth. By the way there is a "product update" for a bigger stator, an (improved 03 model) for the warranty people who need it.

    trully,
