:Pound: :Bolt: The joys of the time difference.

I'm not familiar with the brands you are talking about.

As for leathers why not get them made for you? For example over here we have Scott Leathers (you may be familiar with them as they supply a lot of the roadracers kit.) difference in price between off the peg and made to measure is minimal say between £0 - £20

Most of the 2 piece suits from Dainese do not have any back protectors integrated into the suit or the means to insert one into the suit itself. I guess Dainese assumes you will be wearing a full length version of back protection, which is typically a stand alone protector.

I have to say the two pieces that 01Ragtop bought was at a good price, the two suits I bought were $840 and $896 (OTD), where his set came in at ~$825. Usually the separates come out a little more than a matched suit. There is one other benefit with buying separates, sometimes one half of the suit doesn't fit as well as the other but unless you have it tailored, you basically have to live with that. Where as the separates, you can get the best fit for each half.

There was a pocket for my protector, had to trim 1/2 inch on each side.

FYI, Motorcycle Superstore is doing a final blowout of their inventory and having a blowout of up to 95% off sale until December 1st. Don't know what inventory they have left but they do carry some good brands, Dainese, Alpinestars, Rev'It, AGV, Shoei, Schuberth just to name a few.
